FAREWELL

This week's word is FAREWELL

The idea for this painting first began with the doodling of a flower which I used in several layers.
I liked the concept idea, but I wanted to push it further by using a figures, and Like the flower, I reused the figure in several layers, aiming for the same concept.
For the final painting I chose sepia to suggest a memory and and  pink glows to suggest  "farewell" blessings.

Drawing Hands

I've being wanting to  learn to draw hand for the last few months now.  here are my first efforts.  Hopefully with much observation and practice, I will become more and more familiar with the hand anatomy, how fingers fold on each other, and drawing hands will become more of an intuitive process.

I've looked at several tutorials on line that I found helpful, here are two examples of many good ones: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rB7ab61Xu3Q

WILD

This week's word is WILD

For the word "wild", I wanted to illustrated the concept of animals attacking.
To achieve this effect I used two apps: Adobe Ideas for the horse, and ArtStudio app for the bear foot prints.

URBAN

This week's word is URBAN

New York , New York

To illustrate the word URBAN, I used for background, a painting that I painted 6 years ago after taking a trip to New York with my youngest daughter.

To that I added a sketch done with my ASKectch app.

and use ArtStudio app to combine the two, using multiple layers.

My first Animation

Baby and Nanna
Hi everyone, I'm so exited, I just have to share.
I just finished my first illustration from one of my little sketches found in the figurative sketches section on top  of the page.

I used Photoshop and found the instructions on how to make an animation on a You Tube tutorial.  Here is the address link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-NK1UTHL-U

Enjoy, and please share with me your animated creation.
